It is a good reminder to us when you are teaching that the only real truth is the Word of God, and that it is our ultimate source of authority, not what man seem to think. In that statement, you remind us that we are vulnerable and succeptible to false teaching, but at that same moment, you are showing us that you understand our need for truth, that you are only a man, but that your thoughts and ideas have come straight from Scripture - you do not proof text to prove an idead that you think we should believe. I never can remember anyone who used the Old Testament and the New Testamaent to compliment one another, and to show that the Bible ultimately is a book of redemptive History leading up to one dramatic Climax, the birth, life, death, and ressurection of Jesus Christ. So thank you Murray for being so devout and faithful in the Word. Praise God that He is giving you the wisdom to reveal and teach to us even more of His wonderous glories. There are so many complex issues and thoughts in the Bible that cannot be seen or undserstood by all men. So God in his exceeding grace has given us not only the Holy Spirit, but a multitude of great teachers to expound of God's truth. Murray, I think that God has given you such a great gift in teaching.
