I agree, Julie. We must be careful in using logic for our thoughts cannot attain to the height of God's thoughts, and His ways are far above ours. We must always embrace all that God says whether or not we can fully grasp it. I love a God I cannot fully comprehend - who is far above me!

May we help others find their joy and satisfaction in God in and through Jesus by the Spirit.

Lesson six - after a big intro on logic - which I have never been a fan of....(after all I am a woman and I have my own perfectly fine logic)Carson deals with three topics in this lesson. The first is God’s Sovereignty and human responsibility - which was easy to follow because Murray has already covered this so well. Secondly Carson gives us a much clearer 'picture' of what systematic theology should and shouldn't be (using a picture of a puzzle. This began to make sense to me. Lastly Carson discusses structure used in Biblical interpretation called "inclusion" which is very insightful. Hope I can remember and apply it all!

And as always John Piper hits the nail on the head with his points - especially #9!!
