The Gospel Coalition
I do not know if many of you have heard about the gospel coalition.
Men from a number of churches and ministries, such as D.A. Carson, John Piper, Mark Driscoll, C.J. Mahaney, Alistair Begg, Kent Hughes, Philip Ryken, Mark Dever, Ray Ortlund, and Ligon Duncan, and various organizations such as Acts 29, The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, Desiring God, Together for the Gospel, 9Marks, Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, Sovereign Grace Ministries, along with The Resurgence, have united together for the sake of the gospel. Overall, there was a great deal of ethnic, geographic, denominational, organizational, and stylistic diversity, bound together by a solid reformed confessional agreement on theological essentials. Out of this gathering of the tribes has come a new organization called The Gospel Coalition. It held its first conference in May on the campus of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. The gospel coalition describes itself in this way…
“We are a fellowship of evangelical churches deeply committed to renewing our faith in the gospel of Christ and to reforming our ministry practices to conform fully to the Scriptures.”

Hi Murray,
just want you to know that although I haven’t posted any comments recently I am still reading the posts. I went briefly to this website, and I hope to spend some time going through it carefully, although right now I need to be getting some work accomplished so it will have to wait till later.
